Remote Staff’s Tax Help Service Program

The Tax Help Service Program enables each contractor to have a full grasp and understanding of taxation in the context of being a freelance remote worker.

This service assists contractors with the registration process with BIR and provides financial aid via expense reimbursement. The Tax Help Service also offers tax filing assistance where Remote Staff handles the tax filing process with BIR.

What’s included in the program?

Personalized Tax Consultation

The Guidance Program offers Tax Consultation sessions with each contractor to walk them through the program. These are personalized consultations conducted by Remote Staff’s dedicated Tax Officer to discuss the appropriate and optimized tax method for each contractor, allowing for optimized deductions.

Registration Assistance

We guide contractors through their Self-Employment registration with BIR and walk them through the registration process with complete information on registration requirements. Along with process assistance, expenses and fees spent throughout the contractor’s self-registration to BIR are all compensated.

Tax Filing

Remote Staff can assist contractors in filing their taxes on their behalf. This service covers quarterly tax computation and deductions per pay run. This is an optional service, if the contractor chooses to do it on their own or hire an accountant.

Self-Employed Contractors under Remote Staff’s Tax Help Service Program

Under the Tax Help Service Program, Remote Staff contractors are required to comply with Philippine Taxation guidelines with the help of our inhouse Tax Help Team. Remote Staff conducts regular tax audits quarterly and annually in which all contractors must present copies of tax declarations as proof of tax compliance.

In cooperating with Tax Help Service Program, Remote Staff can assist every contractor with the following processes:

Self-Employment registration to BIR

Tax compliance starts with BIR registration.

Remote Staff assists you in preparing your registration documents and reimburse the expenses made during the application.

Quarterly and Annual filing of tax dues

All contractors are required to compute, file, and pay their taxes quarterly and annually every taxable year. Tax consultations with Remote Staff’s designated Tax Officers are conducted regularly from the program onboarding to the quarterly tax filing.

Under Remote Staff’s Tax Guidance Program, contractors can join the Tax Help Service where Remote Staff provides service assistance in BIR registration and tax filing as well as financial assistance by reimbursing the expenses paid throughout the contractor’s tax registration.

Issuance of Official Receipts per pay run

As part of the self-employment tax filing process, regardless if the contractor chose to join the Tax Help Service or not, all contractors are required to issue their official receipts to Remote Staff using a dedicated dashboard tool.

These documents shall be reviewed by the Tax Officer after each pay run.
