Individual Tax Filing

Remote Staff reserves the right of each contractor the choice to file their own taxes or join the Tax Help service.

If you want to go independent and file your taxes with the help of your own accountant or third-party tax filing assistance services, you must sign a tax compliance waiver to declare that you will send proof of your tax filing documents and fully cooperate with Remote Staff for the tax audit checks.

Under Remote Staff’s Tax Help Program, you are still required to send proof of the following to your Tax Officer:

  1. Self-Employment Registration documents
      • Certificate of Registration
      • BIR Plate
      • Sample Official Receipts
  2. Issued receipts per pay run
  3. Quarterly and Annual Tax Filing documents
      • 1701Q – Quarterly Income Tax Return for Individuals, Estates and Trusts
      • 1701A – Annual Income Tax Return for Individuals Earning Income PURELY from Business/Profession
      • 2551Q – Quarterly Percentage Tax Return
      • Receipts of tax payment (either scanned copies of physical receipts or digital receipts if paid via online payment channels)
